Utilization:
Leaves are heated and used as a treatment for cuts, bruises, and sprains. Flowers may be chewed to treat cold sores. The sap from the green nut collected early in the morning will produce a sap that can be used for treatment of mouth and skin fungus. The bark can be boiled and used as a gargle to treat sore throat.
